    HTTP mode saves page HTML and referenced assets, including JavaScript when available. JS-rendered mode saves the browser-rendered DOM and removes page scripts.

    Links between saved pages and downloaded resources are rewritten to local paths. Pages outside the chosen scope and external services are not made local.

How to copy a website in three steps

  1. Paste the URL

    Enter a public URL you own or have permission to copy. Review the capture mode, page limit and link depth, then sign in to start the job.

  2. Preview the crawl

    Follow the capture's recorded progress. When files are ready, inspect the saved page list and static preview, and review the report for gaps. This is a preview of captured pages, not a pre-crawl site map.

  3. Download the ZIP

    Download the available static files and report. Extract the ZIP and use a local static server or a static host to view the saved pages.

Moving a site to a new host

When you need to migrate website pages but no longer have the original project files, start with the public front end. Save the pages and assets, inspect the ZIP, then upload and test them on the new static host. You handle the upload, domain and DNS settings yourself. Databases, server code and connected services need their own migration.

Back up a website you don't control

You do not need access to a site's hosting panel to save its publicly accessible pages. You do need the owner's permission or another lawful right to copy the content. The result is a static front-end backup, not a backup of private data or the underlying application. Access controls and sign-ins are not bypassed.

Keep a copy you can read offline

Keep documentation, reference material or your own published pages for later reading. Extract the ZIP and serve it locally. Downloaded HTML and assets can be read without the source website; links to uncaptured pages, remote media, search and live services may still need the internet. Review the capture report before going offline.

JS and SPA pages: rendered, not scraped

Select JS-rendered mode for a page that builds its content in the browser. A cloud browser renders the page, and the observed DOM is saved as static HTML along with available resources. The result preserves captured content, not the live application: page scripts are removed, and login sessions, API-backed interactions and backend behavior are not reproduced. Content that cannot be reached or loaded may be missing.

How do I copy a website?

Paste the URL into the form, choose HTTP or JS-rendered mode, and review the page and depth limits. Sign in and start the capture. When it finishes, inspect the saved pages and report, then download the available ZIP. Only copy content you own or are authorized to save.

Can I copy a website without access to the backend?

Yes, if its pages are publicly accessible and you have permission or another lawful right to copy them. The export contains captured front-end files, not server code, databases, private accounts or a hosting backup. It does not bypass access controls.

Does it work on JavaScript and SPA sites?

JS-rendered mode uses a browser to save the rendered DOM as static HTML. Available styles, images and fonts are collected, while page scripts are removed. Results depend on what the browser can load; live API behavior, forms, authentication and backend features are not recreated.

What's the difference between copying a site and cloning it?

Here, copying means saving accessible pages and resources as static files for an authorized backup, migration or offline reading. It does not mean rebuilding the source application, duplicating its backend or obtaining rights to someone else's content.
